A World Favorite – Irish Cream Coffee Recipe

This recipe is similar to the basic Irish coffee recipe but with a few surprises in store for you, for an excellent taste and a flavor that just hits the spot.


  • A glass
  • A stirrer
  • A warm spoon
  • some hot water
  • four ounces of freshly brewed coffee
  • two cocktail sugar cubes
  • ¾ ounce of Irish Whiskey
  • ¾ ounce of Bailey’s
  • Brown Sugar
  • Whipped Cream (preferably homemade)
  • One Maraschino cherry


Once you have gathered your ingredients and tools, you are ready to make this fantastic Irish Cream coffee recipe. You will need to first preheat the glass. The most efficient and easiest way of going about this, is by pouring the hot water into the glass. Once the glass has been preheated, you can dump the water out. Add the Bailey’s and the whiskey into the preheated glass. Mix well. Then slowly and carefully, fill the glass with the four ounces of coffee while stirring well. At this time you can also add in the brown sugar. You can also sweeten the coffee prior to adding it into the mixture.Slowly, pour the homemade whip cream over the back of a warm spoon onto the Irish cream coffee mixture. You do not want the whip cream to break the surface of the coffee in this Irish Cream coffee recipe. To finish this recipe, add the Maraschino cherry and you are ready to serve this delicious hot drink.
